Occasionally is an anglophone reading series organized by Matthew Rana and hosted by Rönnells Antikvariat.

Cole Swensen is the author of twenty collections of poetry, most recently And And And (Shearsman Books 2023), which was long-listed for the Griffin Poetry Prize. A new collection, Veer, will be published by Alice James Books in 2026 as the inaugural volume in their Jane Valentine series. A former Guggenheim Fellow, she has been awarded the 2025 Paul Engle Prize by the Iowa City UNESCO City of Literature, and she has won the Iowa Poetry Prize, the SFSU Poetry Center Book Award, and the National Poetry Series. She has been a finalist for the National Book Award and twice for the Los Angeles Times Book Award. She is also the translator of some 30 volumes of French poetry, literary prose, and art criticism; she has won the 2004 PEN USA Award in Translation, the 2024 ALTA National Translation Award, and the 2025 Stephen Mitchell Translation Prize. She divides her time between Paris and San Francisco.

 

Biswamit Dwibedy was Born in Odisha, India and now lives in Paris, France. He lived in Iowa City, Iowa for several years and has an MFA from Bard College, New York. He is the author of Ancient Guest (HarperCollins India), Hundred Greatest Love Songs (Penguin Random House), Erode (Litmus Press), Hubble Gardener (Spuyten Duyvil), and the chapbooks Eirik’s Ocean (Portable Press), MC3 (Essay Press) and Film of Dust (Sputnik & Fizzle). His poems have been published in Poetry MagazineThe Brooklyn RailTarpaulin Sky, and Best American Experimental Poetry amongst other places. He translates from Hindi and Oriya and his poems have been translated into French. Dwibedy is also a visual artist. He’s been an artist-in-residence in France, India, and Iceland, and directs the MFA in creative writing at The American University of Paris.
