Brad Henkel:
Brad Henkel is a trumpeter and composer from the United States currently based in Berlin, Germany. With a primary focus on improvisation, using a broad color palette of pitched and unpitched sounds, he creates and participates in music which is rooted in the Jazz, Contemporary Classical, and Echtzeitmusik traditions. He is a member of KIM Collective.

Vilhelm Bromander
Vilhelm Bromander (1988) is a Swedish bass player and composer deeply entwined in the Stockholm experimental and free jazz scene. He can be heard in groups such as Svenska Folkjazzkvartetten, Kommun, in duo with Fredrik Rasten, Elin Forkelid plays for Trane as well as his own group Vilhelm Bromander Unfolding Orchestra.

Vilhelm has also worked a lot with solo double bass – where he directs his focus to acoustic details such as beating, common partials and difference tones – to hear what happens with our perception when we allow ourselves to be immersed in sound for a longer stretch of time. In January -22 he also debuted as a soprano saxophone player with his new chamber work, Aurora, that was released by warm winters ltd.

Lisa Ullén
Pianist/composer born in Seoul, Korea, raised in the north part of Sweden.

Touring internationally for many years both solo and with several groups, has performed a number of works, most recently with NorrlandsOperan, Sveriges Radio, Berlin Jazzfest. Latvian radio station. Is currently working on the solo LPs Heirloom (2024), Embrace the SPACE (2024) and Kalpa (2025).

Magnus Granberg
Magnus Granberg is a composer and performer working at an intersection between contemporary chamber music and improvisation. Apart from the ongoing work with Skogen and other ensembles he has increasingly been writing music on commission for musicians, ensembles and institutions like Nate Wooley, andPlay, Apartment House, Ordinary Affects, a.pe.ri.od.ic, Insub Meta Orchestra and Dramaten. He has also collaborated regularly with musicians such as Toshimaru Nakamura, Ko Ishikawa, Rhodri Davies, Angharad Davies and Jürg Frey.
